Even our beloved Nancy has changed her ways this spring. The studies, queries, and surveys are out (something's got to keep fashion journalists busy these days), and what's being learned about designer fashion buyers is kinda charming, I think. One more trend that I find charming is one that pretty much everyone can get into. High end brands like Coach are putting out lower end lines with bags worth a couple hundred dollars along side their regular bags worth a few thousand. Spring 09' is the year the affordable purse came down the catwalk….who knew? One thing that I find funny about this third trend is that with bags for $200 to $300 they're getting into the price ranges of replica Coach purses. Has the culture come full circle?
